Situated in Silicon Valley, California, the OZ Residence is a place designed to cater to a growing family of four – a couple together with their two young children. Designed by Swatt Miers Architects, the house is comprised of a simple L shaped plan with two wings. It has a casual, barefoot feel as it is made mainly by wooden panels, glass bridges and Venetian plaster treated walls.

Located in the upper level of the house are the children’s spacious bedrooms. On the ground floor, you can find the the family room which is directly connected to the sleek, all white kitchen. The house also has an office, media room, guest suite and the master suite, all located in the second floor of the south wing. Accentuating the residence is an attractive solid mahogany pivoting entrance door that opens dramatically to a floating glass bridge connecting the two wings at the second level of the house. The outdoor area is decorated with a simple breathtaking landscape and a pool to relax and cool down anytime of the day.
