Designed to become a place for peace and contemplation, this cozy weekend residence named Haus Wiesenhof boasts its relaxing panoramic views and minimalist design. Located in St. Johann in Tirol Austria, the house is distinguished by its rustic simplicity and tranquility.
“The house communicates with the dominant mountain range, with every view resembling a painting. The decision to utilize archaic materials was made quite consciously to quote the surrounding farmsteads. The client wanted an atmosphere that was light and airy, but also cozy.” explained the designer, Gogl Architekten.
As a weekend refuge, the house is characterized by its spacious living area, decorated with minimal ornaments and furnitures. The home’s rustic feel was defined by oak wood, natural stone, iron and Venetian plaster treated walls. By the way, the house is also designed to be a sustainable home in respect for the natural location.
